Private Dinner Party, Louisa and Friends





Catering for a great bunch of work friends celebrating their Christmas Party in January at a holiday home in Swanage was a fantastic Dinner evening. A resplendent Menu with my own Smoked Duck to start with, four cuts of Lamb for the Main-course and finishing with Toffee Apple and Pecan Crumble was well received all round! It was a pleasure to cook for a bunch of brilliant sports who created a fantastic atmosphere to be in. 








Menu


Canapes:

Bruschetta, Cherry Tomato, Chilli Salsa,

Crispy Duck Roll, Sweet Chilli,

Cured Salmon, Cream Cheese, Horseradish, Lemon, Black Pepper,

To Start:

Warmed Goats Cheese, Rocket. Caramelised Red Onions, Blush Tomato,
or
Smoked Duck Breast, Raspberry Balsamic, Duck Skin Crackling,

Cranberry and Sunflower Seed Granary Bread,

Main-Course:

Assiette of Lamb, Red Wine Gravy,
Garlic and Thyme pan roasted Rump, Sesame and Honey seared Cutlet, 
Confit of Shoulder, Red Wine braised Heart,
Celeriac Mash, Glazed Baby Carrots,


To Finish:

Toffee Apple and Pecan Crumble, Vanilla and Cinnamon Custard,
or
Vanilla and Honeycomb Creme Brulee.
