Private Dinner Party, Sarah and Friends



I am always ultra busy this time of year with Christmas just around the corner but have been exceptionally so this weekend! Having four Dinner Parties on Saturday through Sunday, it was great to be able to fit in a Lunchtime meal for 5 close friends celebrating the festive period with a four course special Dinner in style near South Sea. It was a pleasure cooking for such great comrades, also meeting their beautiful baby girl, aged just a few months. Having Trio of Roast Chicken for the main-course was always going to be a winner for another fab Dinner Party, being a recent addition to my menu and already a top favourite. There was plenty of Bubbly being passed around which made for an afternoon full of great banter in a merry atmosphere, enjoyed of course with exquisite cuisine in the comfort of home.




Menu


Canapes:

Parma Ham, Goats Cheese and blush Tomato Pesto,

Bruschetta, Tomato and Red Pepper Salsa,

Duck Pate, Red Onion and Ginger Chutney,


To Start:

King Prawns, Pancetta, roasted Butternut Squash,


Main-Course:

Trio of roast Chicken, Tomato and Basil Sauce,
Breast, stuffed with bluch Tomato and Mozzarella, wrapped in Parma Ham,
Confit of Drumstick,
Chicken Thigh Kiev, Tarragon, basil and Garlic Butter,

Confit Potato, Sweet Potato puree, Baby Asparagus Spears, Parsnip Crisps,


To Finish:

Toffee Apple and Pecan Crumble, 
Creme Anglais, Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel Tulille,
