Private Dinner Party, Cheryl & Pete





I cooked for a benevolent group this Saturday who helped make their friends celebration of a momentous Birthday a very special occasion. Cheryl did an amazing job of keeping it a secret until the evening, being a fantastic surprise for Pete when he came in. On the night, everything was delivered perfectly and couldn't have gone better. It was  a pleasure cooking for everyone who were such an obviously charming bunch and it was especially rewarding as Cheryl had given me free range with the menu and just let me know some of her favourite ingredients to work with.









Menu

Canapes:
Bruschetta: Tomato, Red Pepper, Lime, Coriander,

To Begin:
Tian of White Crab meat & King Prawns, 
Avocado, Lemon, Black Pepper,
Granary and Sesame Soda bread,

Main-course:
Trio of roast Duck:
Seared 5 spiced Breast, Crispy roast Leg, Confit Duck Parcel,
Bubble and squeak, Saute Cabbage and peas, Soy infused Gravy,

To Finish:
Trio of Desserts:
Elderflower and Vanilla Pannacotta,

Pear and Anise tarte tatin. Vanilla and Cinnamon ice cream.
